01 / OUR PHILOSOPHY
Photography
is the destination.
Light Chasers is being built around a simple idea: a photography tour should be designed around photographers—not an ordinary tour with photography added to it.
We keep groups intentionally small, scout every location, and shape each day around light, weather, wildlife, and opportunity.

02 / INAUGURAL TOURS
Coming in 2027
Two carefully scouted photographic experiences. Complete dates, itineraries, and pricing will be shared with the Priority List first.
Tour-card photographs are public-domain government imagery used for pre-launch context. They are credited and linked to their official sources, and are not represented as Light Chasers photography. Original scouting photographs will replace them after October.
03 / BE FIRST TO KNOW
The best light
doesn’t wait.
Join the Light Chasers Priority List for complete dates, itineraries, pricing, and first notice when booking opens.
“A photograph is not taken.
It is made.”— ANSEL ADAMS
04 / MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHERS
Built by people who
would rather be outside.
Light Chasers LLC is led by working photographers who understand that the experience begins long before the shutter clicks.

Bob Woodfin
CO-FOUNDER · MASTER PHOTOGRAPHER · CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER
Bob brings roughly 20 years behind the lens and a practical understanding of what photographers need in the field. His work is rooted in landscape, wildlife, travel, and the pursuit of exceptional light.
Dan Brown
CO-FOUNDER · PHOTOGRAPHER
Dan’s interest in photography began in college, where he studied film photography, developed his own work in the darkroom, and photographed campus events and sports. During a three-month study program in Japan, he purchased his first Canon camera in Osaka. For the past 25 years, Dan has photographed high school sports for local newspapers and MaxPreps. Today, he is expanding his work into landscapes and portraits—and photographing the Milky Way whenever the opportunity arises.
